Education: Growing knowledge, one garden at a time

My love of learning in the garden eventually led me to formal study, earning a Certificate in Horticulture from the University of Guelph. That education deepened my understanding of plant science, soil systems, garden designs and sustainable practices – knowledge I love to share with others.

Education is the heart of From My Garden because I believe:

• Gardening becomes more rewarding when we understand why and how things work
• Knowledge empowers gardeners to make sustainable, confident choices
• Learning is lifelong process, just like gardening itself

Whether through articles I write on gardens, presentations I give or conversations with people at community events, my goal is to make horticulture accessible, inspiring and practical for gardeners of all experience levels.
