“From my garden to your table”
I have been gardening all my life. The family kitchen garden has always been a big part of my life, growing up on a century farm on the outskirts of London and presently with my own family near Thorndale, Ontario.
I have honed my gardening knowledge and skills with various courses. I have a certificate in Horticulture from the University of Guelph. I am a member in the local Horticulture Society as well as an active member with the London Middlesex Master Gardeners. I even find some time to be a volunteer gardener at Fanshawe Pioneer Village in London, ON
Besides gardening, cooking is another passion of mine, so I have combined the two! It has always been important to me to feed my family from the best of my garden or from locally grown produce. For more than 50 years of preserving, canning, pickling, and using heirloom recipes including some of my own creations, I have developed tasty preserves for my family and friends. Now I want to share my gourmet jams, herbal jellies, savoury chutneys, sauces, floral jellies and herbal mustards, plus so much more with you!
