Growing Together…

Growing Together….

I have been gardening all my life. The family kitchen garden has always been a big part of my life, growing up on a century farm on the outskirts of London and presently with my own family near Thorndale, Ontario.
Over many many years I have honed my gardening knowledge and skills with various courses and various other learning opportunities.
I have a certificate in Horticulture from the University of Guelph, a member in the local Horticulture Society as well as an active member with the London Middlesex Master Gardeners.
I even find time to be a volunteer gardener at Fanshawe Pioneer Village in London, ON.
Besides the Ecological, Education and Engagement of gardening, cooking with product from my garden is another passion of mine. It has always been important to me to feed family from a garden, wether it be from my garden, a community garden, or from a locally grown produce stand or market.
For more than 50+ years gardening, nurturing and harvesting that produced my preserving, canning, pickling, using heirloom recipes including some of my own creations, I learned and developed tasty preserves for my family and friends and now through Ecological, Education and Engagement you can too.
